This year we had a wide variety of our gifted member local artists who showed us their talents. The outstanding group of star artists for this year's concert were (listed in performance order):
Andy Romanoff
Andy has been at our open mic many times. He has 4 CDs of original music consisting of blues, folk and classical. Lately he has been composing lyrics for original songs, — and tonight found him singing three of his very best of them.
Marie DelaCruz
Maria is a very prolific singer songwriter who has written 100's of songs. Her recently released album is NO EXPIRATION DATE. She was joined with several of her musician friends, Brian Unger and Richie Hickey, who helped bring out the best of her music. Visit Marie online: MarieDelaCruz.com
Ed Mocko
Ed has been writing and performing original material in various open mic venues including the Folk Music Society of Huntington. He was accompanied by Tom Wilson on harmonica and Rick Robertson on bass in their trio named Acoustic Downtime. Ed Mocko and the group were most welcome and appreciated by our audience.

Jonathan Bodian
We first met Jonathan at a meeting of the Classical Guitar Society of Long Island and was immediately blown away. It's easy to believe that he was born with a guitar in his hands. He has been playing open mics with us for a number of years. Now he is all of 12 and plays guitar in a variety of virtuousic styles. It is with great pleasure that we welcomed Jonathan Bodian, who blew away our audience.
Denise Romas
Denise enjoys sharing her view on life and love through her original songs; some of which have been said to tug at the heartstrings and some that evoke a chuckle or two, as did the amusing tributes to George Costanza and her cat. Visit her website at DeniseRomas.com
Intermission
Jesse Oelbaum
Jesse has studied orchestral, jazz and classical guitar. He has played with many different bands and has recently resumed practicing seriously after a hiatus to make a living. He finds the time to practice a few hours every day and we were very pleased to be the beneficiary of his musical expertise.
Maria Fairchild
Maria is a virtuoso clawhammer banjo player and a great singer. She has a unique ability to make traditional music feel contemporary and accessible. Her stage presence made her performance a memorable experience.
Dave Waxman
Dave is on the Board of the Folk Music Society of Huntington and is the chair of the Hardluck committee. He has been playing acoustic guitar since he was a kid and has studied with many artists including Toby Walker. In addition, he is a published author of mystery stories. He can be heard at many open mics around the Island and it was our pleasure to present him here.
Anna Dagmar
Anna is a Brooklyn based pianist and singer-songwriter. Her third album called LET THE WAVES COME IN THREES was released in April of 2009. It climbed to #6 on the Root Music Report and is being played in over 100 stations nationwide. She will be touring throughout the country during 2010, and has a web site: annadagmar.com

David Bailey
David Bailey was born and raised in the Mississippi Delta in the hardscrabble town of Marianna, Arkansas. His interest in the unique and inspiring people he's met along life's way serves as a foundation for his spirited storytelling and performing.
